Holy going back to my roots, Batman!

Yeah, going way back. Ten+ years ago I would never have been able to do anything like this (and oh, how I tried) - despite the fact I did not have Painter then, either. This was a really nice change of pace.

Playing around with more stuff in Painter X. I wasn't sure I could pull off the fiery effects, but I played around a bit and kinda stumbled on this look. I am pleased!

Anyway, yes.. Of course, Marvel comics' Jean Grey, aka Phoenix. I was inspired after happening across some really nice comic book galleries on dA as of late. Plus, I wanted to try some straight-up digi painting. Well, bam. Whipped this up in a few hours today.
